In the tender embrace of Shaju Thomas's leadership, Popees Baby Care was born in 2003, igniting a revolution in the world of baby wear. With a heartfelt commitment to setting unparalleled standards in quality and affordability, Popees embarked on a journey fueled by love and compassion for every tiny tot. Our garments, crafted from the purest organic cotton, are more than just clothes; they're a cocoon of comfort and care that envelops each child in warmth and tenderness. From the very seeds of cotton, handpicked with love, to the final stitches that adorn
our creations, every step echoes our devotion to excellence.
In our journey of crafting garments that embody love and care, every detail is meticulously attended to. With fully automated machinery guiding our process, each garment is woven with precision and perfection. After the dyeing process, our innovative Balloon-Padding
Process gently smooths away any crinkles, ensuring that every fabric emerges flawlessly soft and smooth.
A revolutionary change was made in the baby-wear business world. Mr. Shaju Thomas defined the DNA of the Popees Baby Wear, the way we care. Quality garments are produced exclusively for all tiny tots.
Mr. Shaju Thomas himself contacted organic cotton farmers and requested them for pure cotton seeds, which were converted to yarn and threads. This pure thread is used for manufacturing high-quality baby-wear.
Fully automatedmachinery was used in the process. All crinkles after the dyeing process got removed using the Balloon-Padding Process. Quality got inspected and assured straight from cotton seed to the final product, which is the dress.
2005

2011
Popees receives its ISO certification and scales up its workforce count to over 1000 as part of its ambitious expansion plan. Supporting brands Popees+ and Pomees came into being along with a kiosk exclusively for online shoppers.
2016
Popees is awarded the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Certificate and expands its presence to various cities across India with more than 15,000 experience stores.
Production is scaled up to accommodate the growing needs of outfits under the sub brands Junior Popees, Popees +, Popees Kids, Pomees and Little Papaya.
2017
Popees wins the Global Business Excellence Award by Janam TV in 2017 and becomes a recipient of the Lifestyle Brand of the year by Economic Times in 2018 growing in reach and popularity as a trusted baby fashion brand.
2019
The brand marks its growth from being a 150 crore company to a splendid 250 crore company thanks to a well-thought out agile and collaborative expansion policy.
